Our School

Port Adelaide Greek School located in the western suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, is a Greek Orthodox School, incorporating Greek language, cultural, religious, dance, and music instruction.


At Port Adelaide Greek School, we aim to create a fun and enjoyable learning environment with a strong community focus and involvement that instils the understanding, enthusiasm and appreciation for the Greek language, culture and heritage.


We are committed to provide to all our students the highest quality of learning while ensuring they have every opportunity to flourish and grow with confidence, embracing their Greek heritage with pride.


Our Greek School was founded in 1960 and is guided by the Port Adelaide Greek Orthodox Community (PAGOC) Executive Council of the Greek Orthodox Community of The Nativity of Christ Port Adelaide.


It also comes under the umbrella of and follows the guidelines and regulations of The Ethnic Schools Association of South Australia (ESASA).


Port Adelaide Greek School caters for students from Kindy to SACE Stages 1 and 2. The school operates on Friday nights for Secondary School students (5.00 pm – 9.00 pm) and on Saturday mornings (9.00 am – 1.00 pm) for Primary School students.


Port Adelaide Greek School also follows the guidelines of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) for Languages.


Our curriculum includes Greek Dancing Lessons and Religious Lessons on the Orthodox Faith.

Classes held Friday nights for High School and Saturday mornings for Primary School.
